GeneMarker® for Fragment
Analysis with Pedigree Tool
GeneMarker for fragment analysis is a genotyping
tool with an integrated pedigree function. The software is
fully
automated making analysis quick and easy. GeneMarker
automatically corrects for genotyping problems and efficiently
analyzes raw fragment data within seconds. GeneMarker
also has several printing and output options including
an allele
report which can be saved as a text file and an integrated
pedigree report.

GeneMarker includes a tool designed to display
and check genotype calls using a pedigree chart. The
chart supports
multiple generations with remarriages and is directly
linked to the corresponding patient electropherograms.
Individuals
with illogical or abnormal allele calls are outlined
in red.

Allele Report |

|
GeneMarker
corrects for instrumental and
chemical bias normally associated with
electrophoresis. Quality of allele calls
are color
coded for quick review of data quality. |
The allele
report displays the alleles for each
marker set for every sample. The green
flag
indicates alleles with a high score and
the yellow
symbol indicates those alleles which
should be
checked. Alleles with a red symbol are
either
outside the panel range or a third allele
in a diploid
species. This report can be saved as
a text file and
printed Allele List ted from Excel. |

Printed Allele Reporting |

 |
| The Allele List displays every allele for
each sample in one report. The green,
yellow, and red symbols are the same
as in the Allele Report described above.
The user may save this report as a text
file and print from Excel. |
There are various printing options in Genemarker
and the user is able to print an electropherogram and/or
allele chart for selected or all samples. The user may
also print selected dyes or a mixture of all dyes. |
