To review and cancel a failed analysis job
On the Analysis page, click the name of the failed analysis job to open a Job Status page. The page shows the status of the job, and an Error Message column that shows the number of errors and warnings that were generated for each step of the job, where:
• Errors cause an analysis job to fail.
• Warnings are for informational purposes only. They do not cause an analysis job to fail.
For example, if the template panel does not contain all the markers in your sample, then errors are generated for the Validate step and the analysis job fails. If there is allele dropout for a marker for a specific profile, then a warning message is generated for the Validate step, but the estimation job continues.
You have two options at this point:
• You can click the number of errors/warnings entry in the Error Message column to open the Step Output page that details these errors and warnings that were generated for the failed step, for example, if a loaded Profile file is missing a genotype for a specific marker. After you review the specific errors and warnings, you can use standard Go Back One Page button on your browser to return to the Job Status page and cancel the job.
• You can click the Cancel Analysis Job option that is displayed at the top of the Job Status page to immediately cancel the analysis job and return to the Analysis page. The job entry for the canceled job is no longer displayed on the page.
After you have determined the errors that caused the analysis job to fail and corrected the cause of the errors (for example, selecting a template that uses the appropriate System Parameters set), you can set up a new analysis for the sample files. After the analysis is successfully completed, continue to
