To add or upload a new panel to the MaSTR database
1. Do one of the following:
• Create and save the new panel.
• Export the panel from GeneMarkerHID or another STR analysis software application.
2. On the Panel page, click Upload Panels.
The Panel Upload page opens.
3. Click Upload.
The File Upload dialog box opens. The file type is set to All. You can leave the file type set as-is, or optionally, to filter the files that are displayed for uploading, select the single file type of *.xml or *.json.
4. In the File Upload dialog box, scroll to and select the standalone panel file, and then click Open.
The File Upload dialog box closes, and the name of the selected file is displayed in the Panel field. For a .*json file, the name that is displayed is the file name that you entered in the “name:” field.
5. Click Submit.
The Panel Upload page closes. The Panel page opens. The newly added panel is the first entry on the page. The panel has an Active status.
