Analysis Information page, Summary tab
From top to bottom, the Summary tab on the Analysis Information page details the following information for the analysis results:
• The Overall Likelihood Ratios (LRs) for each Person of Interest (POI) profile, where the Overall LR summarizes the results that the POI profiles are contributors to the analyzed mixture versus a random contributor from the general population. The Overall LR is shown for each population frequency that was analyzed.
• Three separate plots, which, from left to right, are:
• Overall Continuous MCMC Convergence: The maximum convergence value across all continuous variables. The Continuous tab displays the individual MCMC Convergence plots for all the continuous variables. See
Analysis Information page, Continuous tab. • Overall Genotype Set Convergence: The total variation, which is the maximum total variation of genotype sets across all the analysis markers. The value measures the convergence for the genotype sets across each chain. The value is dimensionless and has a range from 0 to 1, and ideally, it should approach 0. If the value does not decrease, for example, it remains fairly constant at approximately 1, then for at least one of the analysis markers, the genotype sets did not converge. The Genotypes tab displays the individual convergence plots for all genotype sets. See
Analysis Information page, Genotypes tab. • Likelihood Ratios Random Profiles: Displays the range for the Overall LR for 1000 randomly generated individual profiles from each population, which are indicated by circles. The Overall LR from any tested profile is shown as a Box plot. See
Analysis Information page, Likelihood Ratios tab. • Contributor/Ratio table: Details the mean contributor ratio and standard deviation for each contributor (Unknown and Known) that was analyzed.
